Trying to be cheap always bites me in the arse

This website used to run on an old P4 1.6GHz at home. Now it's running on a Core2 Duo 2.4GHz dedicated server. The reason? The old system doesn't boot any more. I think the CPU is fried, or it could be the motherboard (don't have another P4 CPU or mobo to try).

Currently it just sites there, with the power LED flashing away and not booting. The PSU, memory, HDD, DVD & graphics card are fine as I have swapped each of the out for known good stock and still nothing. I'm going to try and recover the data and repopulate here.

I know I had some good content on the old site as Google Analytics showed a few hits on some of my wiki pages. At least I now know how to configure a nightly backup correctly :) Anyway, I have upgraded my personal site to D6, and am currently trying out the Acquia distro (can I use the term Distro for a repackaged Drupal install?) and so far I like. TBH, I haven't noticed a vast diference from a stock D6 install with the same modules added by hand, but that's not what you pay for (if you haven't gone the free download route as I have).

I do like this theme, although I will have to change it at some point as I do want to have some personal touch to what is essentially me, this site.
